At Jobbtorg Unga Sydost, we work with the catchment areas of Farsta, EÅV, and Skarpnäck.

The Jobbtorg is based in the Transformator activity house located in the Slakthus area. The unit consists of about 15 employees, and the workgroup includes coaches, two career and guidance counselors, and a unit manager.

We are now looking for a substitute for one of our career and guidance counselors.

Your role

In the role of career and guidance counselor at Jobbtorg Unga Sydost, you will guide and motivate through conversations to help people take the step to start studying. There will also be some administrative work regarding study planning and follow-up. As a career and guidance counselor within Jobbtorg Stockholm, close internal collaboration with other colleagues in the unit as well as collaboration with various stakeholders and other functions within the administration, educational providers, and other authorities is included.

The target group is young adults aged 20-29 with different backgrounds, experiences, and conditions, but with the commonality that they are outside the labor market.

Change and development work is a natural part of the workday and requires active participation.

Your skills and experience

For this role, you need to have:

• A degree in career and guidance counseling.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Several years of professional experience in career and guidance counseling.
• Experience working with youth.
• Language skills beyond English and Swedish.
